A few Favorite Miniatures

I've been happily busy making miniatures in both 1:12 and 1:6 Scale and wanted to share some of my favorite things to make.

I'm loving my new "EAT CAKE" Sign, with one word strategically placed on top of the other. 

These miniature Candles are so teeny tiny, you just can't even imagine it until you see them in person.

Teeny Tiny Ultra realistic Paper Straws.. a miniature person could actually drink through these... lol

Floral patterned Cupcake Wrappers.

Printed Paper Towels... for cleaning up all your dollhouse miniature spills! ;o)

Miniature Bakers Twine in many pretty colors.

Easter Baskets, Glittered Eggs, Rose Painted Eggs

The small nature of these teeny tiny glittered eggs makes them so much easier to handle and showcase... without the big mess found in larger life-sized glittered projects.  

I love their Sparkle and pretty jewel toned colors.

I also hand-painted roses on the pastel pink and blue eggs using acrylic paints and really small brushstrokes.

It was such a fun little project and I hope you love these as much as I do too :o)

I'm so happy to have my photo on the Cover Page of The Dolls' House Magazine March 2015 Issue #203

I was so excited when they asked me to submit a photo for this issue and was completely over the moon when I found out they wanted to use it as their Cover Page Photo.

I had so much fun working on these 1:12 Scale Dollhouse Miniature Flower Arrangements and to have it featured was just the icing on the cake for me.

Valentine's Day - 1:6 Playscale Miniatures

I was inspired by a real life Frosted Chocolate-Chip Cookie-Cake made for Valentine's Day... 

and these Pedestal Jars filled with Candies seemed to be a perfect match to complete my Table Display.  

Everything was re-created in 1:6 Scale Miniature.

Decorative Paper Towels

Made some decorative Paper Towels in both 1:12 and 1:6 Scale Miniature.

Coffee Art & Sewing Accessories

 Ok, so I'm a little bit obsessed about Coffee... or rather Espresso.  I am very particular about the brand, roast and grind.  So I really don't know why it hit me just a few days ago to come up with a miniature version of my greatest obsession.

Coffee Art is just so beautiful, I could quite possibly spend my entire day watching how-to videos of how these designs are poured into a cup and created.

Below is my miniature version of "My Perfect Cuppa"

 A Customer requested a 1:6 Playscale Sewing Machine... 

and I kinda went a little crazy and made all these other sewing accessories as well.

I wanted to share some pictures before this pretty little sewing machine is off to it's new home :o)

1:12 Scale - A few of my current favorite things

 

I have been making so many 1:6 scale items, that I thought I would share some freshly made in 1:12 Scale.  

A vintage Cake, Vintage Candles, Vintage Style Sugar Shaker, Paper Plates and Cake-Slice shaped party favor boxes... all on top of a pretty Pink Striped Baking Board.

Now who's ready for a party :o)

1:6 Playscale Sugar Skull Masks for Halloween

 I had some extra time on my hands yesterday and wanted to do something fun.  I have to admit, these were really alot of fun to make, and I didn't want to stop making them!
They have been hand-painted, glittered and embellished.  I added a pink ribbon that ties in back.  I even like how they look in a 1:6 Scale setting on a table as a prop.
