1:6 Playscale Coffee Maker

This is what I worked on just yesterday.
A wonderful Red Coffee Maker complete with a cord and plug.
I also made a box of Coffee Filters, and some filters filled with "faux" coffee grains ready to be brewed.
I have been collecting these Vintage 1:6 Scale Coffee Makers for a while and finally took this one apart and customized it.
After my customization were made, with some carving, sanding painting and realistic additions... It now comes apart into 4 different pieces just like in real-life.

I have been working non-stop on minis in both 1:12 and 1:6 Playscale...
but for today I have put together a wonderful little 1:6 Scale Baking Scene that was alot of fun to make.
The 1:6 scale Red KitchenAid Mixer you see was a custom order and is already gone... I miss it already.

I hope this post find you all well and I hope you enjoy the pictures, until next time :o)

1:12 Scale Recipe Card Booklet

I just finished making some of these cute Recipe Card Booklets in 1:12 Dollhouse Miniature size too.
Look at how small they look next to the 1:6 Playscale version I made yesterday.
They are so tiny and sweet and measure just a wee 1/2" of an inch wide.

I just added one to my mini kitchen and I also made some extras for my Etsy shop too.
Hope you like these as much as I do... they're my new mini obsession :o)

1:6 Playscale Vintage Red Mixer & Espresso Machine

I just finished customizing another 1:6 Playscale Size Vintage Red Mixer and a European Style Espresso Machine.
With this mixer, I first separated the Bowl from the mixer, this way I can also showcase the wonderful little paddle.  I spray painted the bowl a metallic Silver, drilled a hole in the back to install the handmade cord and plug, and adjusted the top part so that it moves up and down.
The cord & plug I made from an old cell phone charger... I'm so luck hubby save all of them, they make wonderful cords for both playscale and Miniature appliances.
I also made a darling 1:6 Playscale Recipe Card Booklet along with this set :o)
Hope you like the new Mixer, I am going to list it in my Etsy shop later today along with the other items I made.  Until next time :o)

1:6 Playscale Mixers

Ok, so I finally worked up the nerve to paint these little cuties.  I just had to have one in Pale Pink & Aqua Blue.  These little mixers look so much like the real-life KitchenAid Mixers and I am absolutely in-Love with them.  They were made in the 1990's and are extremely difficult to find anymore.

I made alot of customizations to them.  They were painted, and then glossed.
I adjusted the bowl so that it is removable, this way the paddle can be showcased too.
All the black knobs and really tiny screws were added and then I installed the cords with silver-tipped plugs at the end.
The tiny screws are from an old broken laptop I took apart just for the screws...lol.
The thin white cords and plugs were from new ear-piece speakers I took apart, and all the little realistic pins and levers were from pieces in my sewing and tool kit.

1:6 Playscale Baking Hutch

I made this wonderful Baking Hutch and Table in 1:6 Playscale Size, along with some other items.
It's the perfect piece of furniture to display my 1:6 Mixer Collection, Cookbooks, and other baking essentials.
The Patterned Paper Flowers I made this morning to complete this sweet little table display.

French Farmhouse & Cottage Minis

HaPPy New Year Everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday!
I have been busily working on some new miniatures with a French Farmhouse / Cottage theme and am so happy to have completed a wonderful little set.

I have wanted to try my hand at making some miniatures with waterslide decal transfers but was a little hesitant because of the abundance of them on Etsy these days... ;o)

So I really needed to find some inspiration for something a little different from everyone else so that I would have something unique to offer mini collectors.  I found some really wonderful Vintage French Plates that I absolutely would just LoVe to own in real-life... and just knew they would be the perfect thing to create in miniature.

Here are a few pictures... I hope you like them :o)
